You are locked in. Something else is locked in with you.
DEAD STUCK is a first-person escape game with a survival mode that changes what an escape room is. In SURVIVAL you are still reading the walls, working the locks and hunting for the way out — but the room has something in it that wants you, and it does not want you to escape!
SURVIVAL — SOLVE IT WHILE YOU ARE BEING HUNTED
Every seal you break wakes something. Skeletons rise out of the asylum floor as you work the wards. Wraiths come down the halls of Blackwood Manor. A necromancer blinks across the Arcane Tower and throws bolts at your back while you are still trying to read the runes.
You get a weapon — a knife, a crowbar, a staff — and a health bar, and that is all. There is no safe corner to think in. You solve the puzzle with one eye on the door you came through, or you die holding the answer.
The puzzles are the same real puzzles. Nothing is made easier because you are running.
THREE WAYS TO PLAY, AND ONE OF THEM NEVER RUNS OUT
· CLASSIC — pure escape. Six rooms, nothing hunting you, all the time in the
world to read the walls and work it out.
· SURVIVAL — the same six rooms with something in them that wants you. The
main event.
· RANDOM — chamber randomisation. Every run rolls the puzzles fresh, so the
combinations, the codes and the order you have to do things in are never the
ones you learned last time. You cannot memorise your way out. Play it as
long as you like and it keeps giving you rooms you have not solved.
SIX HAND-BUILT ROOMS
· The Tomb — hieroglyphs, a scarab seal, and the scales of Ma'at
· Blackwood Manor — a house that remembers its last owner
· Room 1313 — a motel room and a tape you should not play
· Ashvale Asylum — six wards, and something that wakes when you arm yourself
· The Sunken Temple — an eagle, a gate, and totems in the black water
· The Arcane Tower — runes, a cauldron, and a necromancer who will not stay put
NO HAND-HOLDING
· No hint button. Every puzzle is solvable from what is in the room
· No timers, no lives, no energy meter
· Progress saves as you go
· Plays entirely offline. Nothing streams, nothing phones home
The Tomb is free, in all three modes. Each of the other five rooms opens
permanently after one short video, or unlock all of them at once — and remove
the ads for good — with a single purchase.
